Student Athletes go to class, but they also need CLASS, that indispensable attribute that makes an individual stand out as an exemplary representative of a sports program. Student Athletes gain life skills that make them as polished off-court as on-court.
Meeting and greeting, proper handshakes and correct introductions, thank you note writing skills (with emphasis on notes worthy of generous benefactors and scholarship donorsthere's a formula and it can be taught) dining skills, and proper etiquette when student-athletes are about the business of representing their school. Athletes train for performance.
This course adds polish to performance with valuable "soft skills" that enhance image both for student athletes and the university/institute they represent.
